Hersheypark recently began teasing something new for the 2019 season, with more to be announced on August 2, 2018.
You can submit your information between now and July 30 to have a chance at being the grand prize agent, winning: four 2019 Hersheypark season passes, four 2019 season pass holder drink & dining plans, one year’s supply of Hershey’s chocolate, and additional confidential prizes to be announced on August 2.
20 runner-up agents will receive four one-day Hersheypark tickets valid during the 2019 season and one Hershey’s Chocolate Prize Pack.
What will this new ride be?
With the tie-in with Reese’s, this looks to be a renovation of Reese’s Xtreme Cup Challenge, which has been in the park since the 2006 season. This is further supported by a service mark which was filed in June for Reese’s Cupfusion, which is intended to be for Entertainment in the nature of an amusement park ride. The “word” cupfusion was a hashtag that was used back in 2016 when they were promoting the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups stuffed with Reese’s Pieces. The Reese’s webpage promoting the product is currently titled REESE’S Pieces Cupfusion.
