Music Box Way was one of three themed areas added in 1990. This themed area was named for the Music Box Theater located in the heart of the new theme area. In 1982 and 1983 this area was named Odyssey Alley, for the CinemaVision theater which was located at the northern end of the area. That part of the area is part of Pioneer Frontier today.
Music Box Way saw several improvements including a renovated Music Box Theater and kiddie ride changed out, Mini-Pirate for Earthmovers in 2003.
Music Box Way was one of several theme areas merged together to form Founder’s Way in 2014.
