I’ve been putting together a new section of this website that will be all about defunct parks in Pennsylvania. I hope you enjoy it.
Today, I have written a page about Paxtang Park, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The park operated from 1893-1929, and featured four roller coasters during that time period. The park was started by a local railway company, which maintained the lease for 30 years, until optioning the park to a company from New Jersey.
The park officially closed in 1930. To read more about Paxtang Park, click here!
