The 1974 souvenir map is the first souvenir map produced by Hersheypark. Certain elements that appear on the 1975-1980 souvenir maps are not seen on this map, such as logos for the themed areas. The names for themed areas on this map are written with a basic typeface font.
This is also the only year a predominately green border was used around the park’s logo and wordmark.
New rides for 1974 were Mini Comet, Trailblazer, and the Sky Ride.
Rides featured which are no longer around include Cuddle Up, Round Up, Paratrooper, and Tip Top.
This is the final season for the Twin Ferris Wheels and the Dancing Waters fountain show.
