Over the years, Hersheypark’s size has changed. Today, it is 121 acres (45 hectares). In 1906, the park was 150 acres (61 hectares). Hersheypark got much bigger until 1971 when the park was fenced – in 1972, the park was recorded at being 65 acres (26 hectares).
