Lakemont Park

Leap the Dips 001
Leap The Dips opened in 1902.

Lakemont Park is in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The oldest operating roller coaster in the world, Leap The Dips, is in this park.

Lakemont Park also features a Toboggan coaster made by Chance Rides and is one of the few Toboggans left in operation. The park also has a second wooden coaster, Skyliner which is a Philadelphia Toboggan Company coaster.

The park was closed for the 2017 summer season because the park was being renovated into a family entertainment center. It’s unknown what rides will survive the renovation aside from Leap the Dips and Skyliner.
