Merry Christmas!

Posted by vanalogue on YouTube, this is a look at the Pacific National Exhibition Midway in 1960.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

This video is from the midway of the 1960 Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is set to the music of La Boutique fantasque, or The Magic Toyshop. This was a stage show which originally debuted in London in June 1919, and debuted in Paris on Christmas Eve that same year.

With the fantastical nature of the music, I think this well qualifies as a nice video to watch on this Christmas Day. I hope everyone enjoys this look back. Enjoy your Christmas, and have a safe and happy new year. The website will be back in early January with new content.

Aside from that video, here is another video that I thought was interesting, although this isn’t about amusement park history.

I have a wide variety of interests, from sports to politics, music to Star Trek. I write about the history of amusement parks. Right now I am focused on Hersheypark.
